Why a Universe?

The universe concept is a playful way to organize portfolio content. Instead of classic dropdown navigation, there are galaxies and planets — each planet is its own page with its own context.

The approach follows the principle of Progressive Enhancement: users with JavaScript disabled or using a screen reader see a classic, semantic HTML list. The universe is a visual enhancement on top.
